      "George Melvin Brantley
      Services for George Melvin Brantley, 69, of 3805 N. Tom Green Ave., will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. He died Tuesday in Medical Center Hospital.
      He was born Sept. 23, 1911, in Haskel. He married Zelphia Maudlin March 5, 1938, in Midland. He was a retired warehouseman for Phillips Petroleum.
      He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Karen Patterson of Clay Center, Kan.; one sister, Juanita Wade of Odessa; two brothers, E.B. of Lovington and C.D. of Houston; and three grandchildren".
